Ypres Royal British Legion – ‘Pop up Concert’

The band was welcomed to Ypres on Good Friday by members of the local Royal British Legion Branch when playing at the Menin Gate.

We were able to return the following day for a rehearsal and afternoon performace, with lots of those in attendance at the Menin Gate returning to hear us. This concert drew from our past reportior, including music featured in the Christchurch Festival of Rememberance 2014 and our previous trip to Belgium.

We were joined by Standard Bearers from Christchurch Sea Cadets, and from the Ypres Branch who marched on at the begining of the concert.
